(Jan. 1-7) The Case

This week in shop, I worked towards completing the design for the LED display. The design is comprised of three layers that I will laser cut out of wood and acrylic. In order to make this design work I had to have a place for the wiring and circuitry as well as a channel for the LED strips. The three layers will be attached with nuts and bolts. This will make it easy to take apart and repair if the need arises. After running a test cut, I realized that the cutout for the spacers that will hold the Arduino in place were spaced incorrectly. After fixing this issue I now just need to wait for the LED strips to arrive and then solder them together.
