Project Completed:

This week in shop, I finished the code for the Scrolling LED Board and the accompanying online forum. All I had to do was separate the SQL calls for the displayed list and UDP send, turn search queries into results with the news API, and only accept and display queries that returned news articles. I also added all of this to GitHub.

Turbo-Flask:

I love using flask, but the lack of support for dynamic web pages and my lack of knowledge of JavaScript combine to make posting data rather ugly. I found an article about turbo-flask and decided to follow along the short tutorial to create a webpage that dynamically updates CPU load averages. I don't think that I will implement this with my current project, but it is nice to have in my back pocket.

Vim plugins:

The application I have found myself using more than any other is not TikTok, but Vim. It is my favorite command line text editor and might even just be my favorite in all. I really like the idea of coding as fast as possible so I spent some time this week learning how to use Vim plugins.
