Face Detection

My current facial detection setup uses a Raspberry Pi, Logitech webcam, and servo. The Raspberry Pi gets video input from the webcam and uses the Open-CV Haar Cascades to identify faces. The Raspberry Pi then returns the position of the face on the screen and calculates how much the servo needs to move in order to point at the person.

In the future, I plan to design a model turret from a video game to utilize this facial detection. I believe that it would at to the shops creative aesthetic and draw future students into the path of robotics and engineering.
